About Crossroads Center, Inc.
The center began more than twenty years ago with the dream of Rena Cross to help people with disabilities through her horses. The center has come a long way from a small outdoor round pen to a large enclosed arena. The arena is dedicated to Ronnie Delay, one of the founding board members and volunteers, who was lost to a tragic accident in June, 2002.
Rena Cross is the center Executive Director. We rely on our volunteers to make riding lessons possible. The Board of Directors is:
•Charlie Delay, President
•Chris Shinogle, Vice President
•Susan Neal, Treasurer
•Joe Denoyer
•Mike Bailey
•Erin Russell
•Hiran Gunasekara
•Dusty Barber
Crossroads Center is a member of PATH International, the accrediting body for therapeutic riding in the United States. Our center adheres to their safety standards and policies.
If you would like to make a cash tax-deductible donation to Crossroads Center, you can mail your donation to Crossroads Center, 18252 Road 4, Liberal, Kansas 67901.
We also accept donations of things we need for horses (hay and feed, tack, wormer, etc.) and items for riders and the arena. On occasion we accept horses into our riding program. Keep in mind that the therapy horse has to have a calm and intelligent personality to do this job. Horses are carefully evaluated for suitability before being accepted. Contact the director if you would like to donate a horse.

Crossroads Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization that offers children and adults with disabilities the benefits of equine assisted activities. No rider is turned away due to financial hardship.
